We seeking to employ a Linux System Administrator who is organised and structured, with excellent communication skills, a technology related degree would be advantageous
CRITICAL REQUIREMENTS: SKILLS , EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATION
1. and maintaining the following:
- DNS (BIND, PowerDNS, Unbound)
- MySQL/MSSQL administration (Must have knowledge of replication configuration and troubleshooting)
- Radius (Freeradius)
2. APACHE/Microsoft IIS setup and administration Candidate must have completed matric
3. A technology related degree or tertiary education would be advantageous
4. Certifications in both Linux and Windows Server would be advantageous
- Extremely strong Linux/Unix/Windows Server skills and advanced knowledge and experience in configuring
- BASH/Windows Powershell Scripting
- Sendmail/Postfix/Zimbra setup and administration
- Syslog setup and administration
5. Advanced knowledge and experience in configuring and maintaining In Linux-based Virtual Machine Platforms (XEN, VMware, VirtualBox)
6. Experience in configuration and maintenance of NMS systems such as:
- Cacti
- Zenoss
- PRTG
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Deployment, amendment, maintenance (clean-up) of customer Virtual Machines on Hosted Cloud platform
-Configuration, installation and management of internal ISP servers and related systems and services (both physical and virtual)
- Datacentre space allocation and management and auditing (Using Rack Tables)
